
2005 Pacesetter Award for Customer Service
CUSTOM HOME magazine honored Gus Rubio of Gabriel Builders, Inc., Greer, SC, as a PACESETTER AWARD winner for 2005. Rubio was designated as one of the custom building industry’s top achievers in 2005. The 11th annual Pacesetter Awards, co-sponsored by CUSTOM HOME and the NAHB Custom Builders Committee, honor the highest achievers in the business of building custom homes.

Winners are selected by the magazine’s editors for their excellence in one of six categories that are critical to business success. Through their customer service, design, innovation, management, production, or marketing techniques, the award sets the standard for excellence in the industry.
Master Builder Certification
When you're making the biggest investment of your life, why would you choose anyone but a Certified Master Builder?
The SC Master Builder program is a professional designation program created by the Home Builders Association of SC to help homeowners to identify exemplary builders who have a proven track record of stability, integrity and service to their buyers. It is designed to improve the professionalism, business management practices, product quality and record of customer service among builders.
To obtain Master Builder certification, a builder must be nominated by their peers and satisfy stringent review criteria in areas such as job and financial stability, consumer satisfaction, adherence to accepted building technology standards, customer service and governmental compliance.
BBB Torch Award
This company participates in BBB Online, and BBB CARE, and the BBB Membership Identification Program. The Bureau has processed no customer complaints on this company in a three-year reporting period. To have a "Sataisfactory Record" with the Bureau, a company must be in business for at least 12 months, properly and promptly address matters referred to it by the Bureau, and be free from unusual volume or pattern of complaints and law enforcement action involving its marketplace conduct. In addition, the Bureau must have a clear understanding of the company's business and no concerns about its industry. The Bureau processed no complaints about this company in the last 36 months, which is the standard reporting period.
