Best Reasons to Visit Greenville, SC

For those of us who are native to the Upstate, we know how special the city of Greenville is. Without a doubt, Greenville has character, charm and charisma. It’s one of the best places to raise a family while also being a thriving area for singles. It hasn’t taken long for the rest of the world to take notice of our beloved city. We were beaming with pride when recently, Greenville made the Top 52 Places to Go in 2017 by The New York Times. Not only did we make the list, we ranked number 12!Chapel 4

Hiding out amongst the Blue Ridge Mountains, Greenville is a small city doing big things. Of course, food is always of importance. With choices like Rick Erwins, Tupelo Honey Cafe, Biscuit Head and any of the Table 301 restaurants, you will never go hungry. Adding to our cuisine, we have four big openings on their way including Husk from Sean Brock, the speakeasy Vault & Vator, Jianna from Michael Kramer, and the Kitchen by Wolfgang Puck.

After feasting on the local dishes, there’s still plenty left to do. The art scene downtown is bursting at the seams and the views around town aren’t too bad either. Even in the midst of the city, you’re never far from nature. Lined with trees, the streets are full of life. Cleveland Park and the Reedy River are both within walking distance and beaming with activity. The Swamp Rabbit Trail, a 21-mile multi-use trail, is the perfect route for biking, jogging or taking a nice stroll as you sip on a pour over from the esteemed Methodical Coffee.

One of the best parts, however, is Greenville’s location. Only an hour away from the heart of Asheville, North Carolina, the Blue Ridge Mountains will always be calling your name. Head the other direction, and you’re a mere 3 hour drive to the coast of Charleston. With state parks and sparkling lakes all around, there is always an adventure to be found in Greenville.

We could not be more proud to contribute to this beautiful area. The homes we build take on a whole new level of intricacy and beauty when surrounded by the Upstate landscapes. With breathtaking views throughout the Cliffs Communities, we always have gorgeous scenery to work with. The lake locations such as Keowee Falls, Keowee Vineyards, and Keowee Springs keep us dreaming of summer bliss. At the same time, the Mountain Park, Glassy, Valley, and Walnut Cove properties make us reach new heights with the mountain landscapes. Building in and around Greenville is nothing short of amazing. We are so blessed to be a part of this growing city. Congratulations Greenville!
