The Gabriel Difference...
Inside Your Home:
- Interior walls are insulated for sound in the bathrooms, laundry room, and adjacent living areas.
- Cast iron plumbing drops are installed to reduce noise.
- All sheetrock is attached to framing using screws.
- Our painting system consists of wood filling nail holes versus puttying, a minimum of three costs of paint with fine sanding between coats, and oil base paint applied to all trim.
- Lighting design consultation.
- Media room design consultation.
- Custom furniture design.
Your Heating/Cooling System:
- In order to maintain the highest quality of indoor air, we install high efficiency air filtration systems. This system includes a pre-filter, 5 inch pleated filter, and a UVGI bulb that breaks down bacteria-molds-fungi while neutralizing unpleasant odors.
- System efficiency is maximized by sealing all HVAC ducts with an elastomeric.
- To minimize wood movement, temperature controls are in place before any hardwood flooring or interior finishes begin.
Your Home's Structure:
- Hurricane straps are used to attach rafters to wall system versus simple nailing.
- Exterior sheathing is applied horizontally for maximum strength of material.
Outside Your Home:
- All exterior trim and siding is back-primed before installation to decrease wood rot.
- All windows and doors have head and sill flashing installed and are back-caulked to ensure that water never enters a wall.
- Exterior sheathing is covered entirely with house wrap to maximize energy efficiency and keeps the walls dry.
- All exposed roof valleys are constructed out of copper. Ice and Water Shield is used at all necessary areas.
- Pipe downspouts and perimeter drains systems installed to control water run-off.
- Frost proof outside spigots installed.
