The cool, fall weather has officially hit the Carolinas. We woke up on November 1st to the crisp, autumn air that we have all been anticipating! And the Old Farmer’s Almanac is correct – we are in the peak of those gorgeous leaf colors. So if you’re looking for another reason to fall in love with the Upstate South Carolina and Western North Carolina, here’s a big one: The Blue Ridge Mountains.
Carolina Mountains ⛰
Whether you’re on a hike or riding the back roads with the windows down, these mountains are breathtaking. Due to their magnificent beauty, one trip will never be enough to capture it all (which is why a lot of our clients move here!). Even us locals can’t get enough! The Blue Ridge Parkway is a whopping 470 miles long stretching from Virginia to North Carolina. Even though the parkway doesn’t quite reach South Carolina, it’s only a short one and a half hour drive from Greenville (which is well worth it if you ask us). The base of the Blue Ridge Mountains does, however, extend itself into our state. In fact, our office sits right at the bottom of them!
New Friends, Old Places 📍
Over the years, a lot of our clients have come from all over the United States. They all fall in love with our little “neck of the woods” and time and time again, it’s a great reminder of how blessed we are to live in such a beautiful part of the country. Whether it’s in the Western North Carolina at The Cliffs at Walnut Cove, or on the shores of Lake Keowee, you can’t choose a bad spot to build your handcrafted home. With incredible views of the mountains and southern landscape, we couldn’t dream of building on better land. And while the fall is one of our favorites, every season in the Carolinas has it’s own unique charm.
Each home we build is just as special as the last one. Our team will never grow tired of helping our clients and friends achieve the perfect home – made just for them. And while we love where we build, it will never compare to the incredible people that we get to build for.
Give us a shout!
