The city of Spartanburg became known as “Hub City” in the early 20th Century because of the immense amount of activity that came through the area and that nickname still rings true today. From farmers’ markets, festivals, art shows, and celebrations, there is always something happening! Advances are always being made here. The Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System is a public, not-for-profit, integrated health care delivery system and is also a teaching and research hospital. There is a great school system here with options for public and private education accompanied by 7 colleges and universities in the area. Every summer, Spartanburg hosts the Carolina Panthers training camp on the campus of Wofford College. With rich history as a foundation, this up-and-coming area is a great place to build!
