Cape Cod on the Lake

The home is a stained cedar-shake with stone exterior and natural cedar-shake roof with copper accents. The exterior patio has gas lamps and a fire pit outside of the lower-level great room perfectly situated for evenings outdoors with access to the bar and living space. The upper level retractable-screened porch has limestone chimney accents and a reclaimed timber mantel.

The clean lines seen throughout the interiors were designed to accentuate the views of the lake, which can be seen from every room in the house. The great room features an arched window, an arched wall leading into the dining room, a vaulted ceiling, and a stone fireplace; elements that are also carried throughout the home. The arches and stone are used again in the lower living room flanking a custom-designed wet bar. The lower living area is also home to the wine room with steel and glass entry and a door custom-made by Heirloom. The unique interior railings are also custom-made and used on the upper and lower-level staircase.  The master bedroom has a stained wood tray ceiling, and the master bath shower has unique rounded corners which are covered in mosaic tile. Custom cabinetry was used throughout the home, with the X detail on the sides of the kitchen island being of specific interest to our clients.  The range hood and great room fireplace mantel are notable François features, and the home has two conveniently located laundry rooms.
