Jon M
Residential Designer & Drafter
Jon grew up in Camden, SC, where throughout his formative years he was romanced by numerous fantastic examples of antebellum and Revolution-era architecture. He would move to the upstate at the turn of the millennium to join the second bass section of the Furman Singers and obtain his degree in Exercise Science. Following graduation from Furman, he taught human anatomy to nursing students while working on a career in fine art and illustration. Over the years, Jon would work for such clients as PenguinRandomHouse, American Mensa, and the Atlanta Braves. On the fine art side, Jon specializes in portraiture and landscapes/cityscapes with a neo-impressionism style. His work hangs in private collections in the U.S. and internationally.
After returning to school for an Architectural Engineering Technology education at Greenville Technical College, Jon has found great joy in his new career in the residential construction industry: “Having a role where I get to blend my love of timeless architectural beauty with my artistic skillset and visual design experience—as well as my penchant for mathematics and technical precision—is everything I could have wanted.”
When the workday is over, Jon spends his time with his wife of over 15 years, Kristen, and their four children, Bethany, Charlotte, Adam, and Madeleine. Jon is passionate about trivia, art, music, fine food and beverages, baseball, dogs, retro video games, and his faith.
