Greenville, South Carolina is a wonderful place to call home. Especially during the holidays, this city lights up with excitement and festivity. With endless possibilities, there is always something to do around this beautiful location. If you’re not sure where to start, don’t worry. We’ve compiled some of Greenville’s best holiday activities to keep you and your family busy this season!
Of course, downtown is always crawling with adventure. For example, Holiday Happening is a great event to get started with. Spread out over multiple days, this event takes place on Main Street. As a family-friendly destination, you will find retail, dining, art, and holiday entertainment! Admission is free and the event starts December 9th and runs until the 11th.
Also happening this weekend is the Holiday Event at Art Crossing. Located on River Street, you can join local artists for live music, face painting, a free photo booth and more! This is also a free event and begins on December 9th through the 11th.
Another option is the Indie Craft Parade Holiday Pop-Up Shop. Located at Methodical Coffee’s roasting facility, this pop-up features the work of 55 artists. This is the perfect opportunity for gift shopping. Home goods, artwork, and children’s items are just a few of what is available here. This pop-up is happening daily until the 12th!
Located just outside of the heart of downtown is the Holiday Flea. Held at the Swamp Rabbit Cafe and Grocery, this event features both artisan foods and handmade goods. The admission is free. This event is for one day only! It starts at 11am on Saturday, the 17th.
These are just a few reasons why we love Greenville so much. All three of these events are great for the whole family and we are just scratching the surface! For more information on these events and more, check out visitgreenvillesc.com.
