Patrick Bush

Senior Project Manager

Born in Sarasota, Florida, Patrick has 25 years of experience in the custom home building industry. He started his career working for a custom home builder in Florida. Later on he managed custom home projects in Punta Gorda, Venice, Sarasota, Manasota Key, Casey Key, Naples, and Fort Myers areas. If you ask him what he loves most about his job, he’ll tell you it’s the problem solving. He really enjoys the different architecture, style and quality of homes he’s had the opportunity to build. Plus, the ability to build strong relationships with clients and subcontractors.

When he’s not working with clients on their projects, you’ll usually find him on his farm with his family; manning his grill; or building something in his workshop. Patrick and his wife, Jessica, have a 14-year-old daughter and 5-year-old son.

What did you want to be when you grew up?

Cartoonist. I have always had a passion for cartoons, both the art style and the way that they make people feel. It seems like you can watch a cartoon regardless of your mood and it can always lift you up. I wanted to be responsible for being the one to create those and lift people up. I always admired the work of Tex Avery (Looney Tunes), Walt Disney and Max Fleischer (Popeye and Betty Boop). I did have the opportunity to draw a comic strip for a local Florida Magazine for a few years.

What makes you great at your job?

Experience, eye for quality and detail. I build every home as if it were not just my own but for a family member and will not sacrifice quality for speed or to appease.
