Castle on the Lake

This beautiful, castle-inspired home features grand, traditional architecture that looks as if it has been standing for centuries.

The exterior features a slate roof, ashlar, gas lanterns, and a turret with gothic inspired windows. The vintage glass featured in the three-door front door is full of bubbles and irregularities, providing another feeling of stepping back in time.

Inside, there are details everywhere you look. Quatrefoils can be seen on custom iron balusters, inlaid floors, tile patterns, and even carved into a staircase post. The great room has reclaimed beams and custom corbels pieced together to perfectly frame the back window, and the fireplace surround is a beautiful limestone set off by custom paneled walls. The large iron light fixture in the great room further invokes the old castle feel. The kitchen has a butler’s pantry that can be accessed on either side of the cook’s station, making for a perfect environment for many hands in the kitchen. The custom cabinet designs throughout the home were brought to life with skilled master trim-carpentry work seen in almost every room of the home.  The spiral staircase is encased in the turret and features more custom wood and iron work. The master bath has marble floors, countertops and walls, and a walkthrough shower. The master bedroom has a barrel tongue and groove ceiling.  The hobby room shows more craftsmanship in the custom window seat featuring two spots for reading, along with the custom bunk room, wine room, and theatre room.
